I moved Ginger's puppies to the big playpen on Tuesday as they are big enough to move about and need the room to grow. You can see from the photo the playpen is one of the fold-up pens available from lots of pet supply catalogs (they're great for lots of uses when training a puppy). A plastic tarp folded to 4 layers thick+newspaper on top keeps the wood floors safe and lets me keep the babies in the reading room in front of a large window for warm sunshine during the day. Ginger was happy to take the opportunity to chill (literally) on the back porch later that day.
