In recent months I've found three things that have made life with the campers soooo much easier. If I'd had 3 wishes from a Genie I couldn't have picked better.
Comfortis
This is a monthly chewable tablet for dogs that protects against fleas. Works like a dream. I am at the end of month 2 and the dogs don't have any fleas at all. Actually seems to work on ticks too they don't have them either. Despite my best efforts and a variety of products in the past they always seemed to have a few resistant fleas.....not now. Zero - nada-not one single flea !! By perscription from your vet.
Shark Steam Mop
I rarely watch infomercials and have rarely bought a product - maybe once or twice, but I recently found myself fascinated with the Shark Steam Mop commercial early one morning. I read a bunch of reviews online and then went to WM and purchased one. Works great !! My wood and tile floors are really clean with no soap or cleaners needed. The wood had gotten a little dull over the years which I think may have been residue left behind by other cleaners - compounded by barn dirt, dog dirt etc. Just a few cleanings with the steam mop and they look and stay looking really clean.
Summer Hair Cuts & the Furminator
Erica clipped all the corgis in early May (actually this is not new as we have done this in previous summers). The dogs are much cooler and more comfortable and once again I am thrilled with how little hair is shed on the floors. I then found the Furminator - a comb with a shedding blade built into it. The dogs love it and it really helps with keeping their coats in top shape and reduces the "tumbleweeds" of hair in the house. Makes summer really easy!
