Ginger and the puppies

As you can see from these photos our dogs live the "good life" and spend lots of time outdoors as well as indoors. The porch, deck, and fenced portion of the yard are all Corgi Camp recreation areas complete with ample shade, baby pool, dog beds, fans with misters, and areas where puppies can be kept separate from the big dogs or allowed to play as a group. I'm never in too big of a hurry to send the babies to new homes as they naturally seem to move on between 8 and 12 weeks. This is the optimum for them I think, as it allows them to wean naturally, adjust to puppy chow and spend time as youngsters with their moms. This is when they learn how to be corgis and move on as secure and happy campers. All of my adults are currently sporting their summer-time hair cuts. My daughters got out the show cattle clippers and sheared their hair pretty close about 2 weeks ago when it got hot. It's great as they are cooler and it really cuts down on the summertime shedding. In fall their hair comes back in great shape too.
